1985 – Present - Fine Artist

Produced figurative and representational drawings, paintings and prints for group exhibitions before finding representation with Jill George Gallery in 1996

Notable projects: Given first solo show in 2002. Invited to exhibit at Discerning Eye, London; Temple Gallery, Paris; Duna, Barcelona; Terrence Rogers Fine Art, Santa Monica; Malborough Graphics and The Forum Gallery, New York. Included in touring exhibition of America: Modern Portraiture. Regularly exhibits at major art fairs in UK, US and Canada. Awarded Daler-Rowney Prize, Neville Burston Award and Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation twice


1992 – Present -  Lecturer and Associate Professor

Instructed classes in principles of drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture

Notable projects: Devised courses for award-winning digital design and visual effects company The Mill, specifically tailored exercises for animation team working within advertising, games and film industries. Part of team who encouraged foundation students at Byam Shaw School of Art to develop a critical faculty through regular seminars, guided tutees through self-initiated projects and essay writing - enabling individuals to find prestigious higher-educational placements


1992 – Present  - Copy Painter

Employed to produce replicas and portraits for film, television and interior design projects

Notable projects: Commissioned to paint exact copies of Canaletto, Cezanne, Titian, Picasso, Rembrandt, and Vermeer, to withstand close scrutiny in Wild Target – a film specifically about art forgery. Liaised with art director to produce atmospheric portraits for award-winning British Horror film The Woman in Black  


1992 – Present - Gilder & Specialist Finisher

Freelancer specializing in all aspects of fine finishing: gilding, églomisé, lacquer work, marbling, trompe l’oeil, murals, wood graining and polished plaster, for residential and commercial properties

Notable projects: Gilded Dodi & Diana memorial for Mohammed Al Fayed. Completed decorative painting on King of Saudi Arabia’s summer palace. Samples and design visualizations secured contracts for many leading designers and freelance commissions included work for Martin Brudnizki, David Collins, Nicky Haslam, Andrew Norrey and Dolby & Taylor.


1995 – Present - Restorer

Undertaken architectural restoration and conservation of historic and listed interiors

Notable Projects: Lead Project Manager of refurbishment at Vintners’ Hall, London. Responsible for coordinating and motivating a large team of contractors, to ensure complicated projects are completed within deadlines that carry a financial forfeit, to the satisfaction of English Heritage and commissioned designers
